      School Director

I have been the director of Pacific Friends School for 16 years. I have truly enjoyed working at PFS and accomplishing many goals for the preschool.  Managing and maintaining a large facility of this size and maturity has been quite an exciting challenge.  Other than the day to day operations of the school, during my time at PFS the school has been awarded a playground grant of $25K and received accreditation through the NAEYC.   I additionally received the Director of the Year award from the Temple City Chamber of Commerce while serving on the board.

I hold an A.A. degree in Liberal Studies, a B.A. degree from Chico State University and a M.S. degree from University of La Verne in Child Development.  I have worked in the field for more than 20 years, and have training and experience in management, human resources, payroll and labor law, employee training, accounting, conflict resolution, customer service, marketing and sales.   I additionally hold a certification as a Playground Safety Inspector through the National Recreation and Parks Association and am First Aid and CPR certified.

Working at the school for so many years has filled my heart with pride. Watching “our kids” grow up before our eyes brings satisfaction that can not be measured. I love my job!
